2,500-year-old mirror dropped on TV
File this under “Things you should never let out of the case”. A 2500 year old mirror,worth approximately £500,000, was accidentally dropped on the floot on a Chinese TV show by a model holding up the mirror. The model was showing off the ancient mirror to the television audience when it slipped out of her hand and fell to the floor - shattering into many pieces. There to witness it all was the owner of the mirror - Chen Fengjiu. Can you imagine the horror in his face when he saw it slip out?
Pretty sad. Goes to show that you really shouldn’t be parading ancient historical items. There’s a reason there are museums folks.
