What a dork...
I can be such a dork sometimes you know. I chipped my tooth last night while at the gym. How can one chip one’s team while at the gym? Quite easily apparently. I walked over to the treadmill section and got onto an available treadmill. Un beknownst to me, the treadmill in question was already running. One step onto the damn machine sent my legs flying backwards while my face tumbling...
Watch out for that X-Wing...
Gizmodo has a picture of an X-Wing Fighter sitting in the middle of Times Square. Supposedly it’s an M&M’s promotion but who knows? Looks pretty cool either way! Now if the R2 unit really worked in that demo! Check it out here.
Cingular blows...
at least according to Consumer Reports. The combined forces of Cingular and AT&T Wireless had the highest number of customer complaints for 2004. As a subscriber to AT&T Wireless (now Cingular), this just saddens me.. Honestly, I’d love to switch to Verizon Wireless but their phone selection absolutely sux. For now, the Audiovox SMT 5600 is the sole reason I stick with Cingular....
What is Burger King thinking??
Ok so here I am trying to find ways to stay on a diet and Burger King comes out with the “Enormous Omelet Sandwich”. That’s right.. it’s called the Enormous Omelet Sandwich because well, it’s enormous! The darn breakfast heart stopper has more calories and fat than a Whopper sandwich. Oddly Enough... Chihuahua Terrorizes Ind. Postal...
Have you ever spent any time in the Oddly Enough section of Yahoo News? It’s a great place to find the weirdest stories and pictures sometimes. I chuckled today when I read this report on how a 4.5 lb Chihuahua was terrorizing postal workers in Hobart, Ind. Man.. if they find that dog scary, wait till they meet New Yorkers :)
Another addictive game
I hate you Brian. I just spent an hour playing this damn addictive game. You can find it here. Don’t blame me if you end up being less productive because of this.
Craigslist goes out into space
Beam me up scotty! Ok - not really but how about “Beam up this website?” On March 11th, a company called Deep Space Communications Network beamed the first commercial transmission of a web site into space and it was none other than Craigslist.com. Thousands of craigslist posting were sent out into space hoping to find a listening ear .. or whatever it might be that is out there. E.T....
Happy Easter!
Good morning! I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Easter this 2005. On this day, I can’t help but be amazed at how the Lord sent his very own son to die for our sins, and yes Jesus was indeed resurrected on the third day. Praise the Lord! May all of you have a safe and wonderful Easter weekend.
New blogging engine!
As you can see, I’ve gone ahead and changed the blogging engine behind FelixLung.com. I used to use the Geeklog engine but that was probably a bit too much for what I had in mind. After perusing around the web for free solutions, I came across WordPress which is an awesome open source Blogging software (there are many other great software packages as well). One of these days, I’d love...
